GMV is looking for skilled and independent CNC operators

Are you someone who enjoys a hectic everyday life, is quality-conscious and has a high professional pride? Then you are probably the operator we are looking for!

At GMV AS, we are concerned with delivering the right quality at the right time, while being competitive on price. This requires an implementation ability that ensures safe and efficient production. The ability to see opportunities for improvement and be solution-oriented is important, while independence is a key characteristic in GMV.

Operators in GMV have a good technical support apparatus with high professional competence. Furthermore, we want our operators to be independent and possess good competence both in programming and tools, in addition to a general understanding of machining.

Information related to position as CNC operator

Work assignments

  • Programming

  • Rigging and setting in machine

  • Self-inspection - Dimensional control, visual control and documentation

  • Maintenance of machine

  • Safe and efficient production of products in challenging materials, with geometric tolerance requirements down to 0.01mm.

  • Shift work - Two types, with the possibility of three shifts in extra busy periods

Wanted qualifications

  • Vocational certificate - CNC operator, toolmaker, machinist or similar. Long experience can compensate for documented training

  • Experience with Mazak, Doosan, DMG, Okuma

  • Experience with GibbsCam

  • Experience with Fanuc Robot
